Another revolution around the sun

I turn 52 next week and I am excited that I have made it this far! It is a time to thank my family, friends and colleague's for a top notch journey, and to say, keep your seat belt fastened!

Several books are on my desk, all in the process of being read at one stage or another. A common theme is running throughout......courage to dream, courage to do new things, courage to live a larger life.

I'm curious, what are you being courageous about this week?

  1. Being courageous about the economy. Just heard some good news that things will take an uptick after the first of the year and people are getting ready now for the increased activity. Not too inspirational, I admit, but a little good news can inspire a lot of courage.

  2. Went to the dentist for the first time in a decade. Give my fear of that I felt a bit courageous. Had a nice joke with the hygeniest about "Is it safe?". =)

Happy Bday in advance Buddy. Enjoy the day!

  3. Dreaming the world into being. No worries mon....

I see with eagle vision and am actively participating in that vision, no longer just dreaming about it.

If I am dreaming a world into being, then I have to intend great things always!!! No fears, no worries mon....

  4. I was reading a book and came across this:
"You can continue to do the things the way you have always done them and continue to get the same results or you can choose to take the road less traveled and make significant improvements in your personal and professional life. Will it be easy? With it happen quickly? Of course not. But one thing I can promise you, you’re going to get there much faster with a written plan, and help from friends, then you would hunting and pecking on your own. So where is “there” you ask. The sad truth is very few people know where “there” is for them. They are so busy letting life live them instead of living life. They are spending their time putting out the fires of life instead of igniting those fires. Does any of this resonate with you? Finding your “there” is the initial critical step for making your life happen. Money doesn’t buy happiness. Ah, but money coupled with meaningful purpose, clarity, and direction is a recipe for unlimited happiness, opportunity, and legacy."
